windyboy 652bdbc364 phase 1: stop the bleeding — untrack 91 files, add verifier, harden CI 
- Remove 91 tracked-but-gitignored files from index (sessions, plugin
  data/manifests, pycache, memory-changes, obsidian state, credential
  notes). Disk files preserved via --cached.
- Add .gitignore rules: .qmd/, .memory-index.lock, *.sqlite-wal/shm,
  13 credential note paths.
- Remove filename-blacklist ignore patterns (**/*password*.md etc.)
  that caught nothing and misfired on normal notes.
- Add .scripts/verify-vault.mjs: scans git-tracked files for key
  patterns (sk-*, AKIA*, gh[pousr]_*, glpat-*, xox*, BEGIN PRIVATE
  KEY) and 64-char hex in plugin .json files.
- Add verifier step to CI lint workflow before dependency install.

Stop tracking Python .pyc cache files and ignore __pycache__/ and .memory-changes-* artifacts.

Noah Brier ef2e96dc72 fix: upgrade command works without git connection for disconnected users 
- Clone latest to .tmp/ directory instead of using git upstream
- Users stay completely disconnected from original repo
- Use .tmp/ instead of /tmp/ to hide from Obsidian
- Add user choice when local modifications detected
- Verify all files were addressed with checklist
- Clean up temp directory after upgrade
- Add .tmp/ to .gitignore

Noah Brier d0c3f6be42 fix: remove tracked user-specific files from repository 
- Remove CLAUDE.md from tracking (generated by init-bootstrap)
- Remove settings.local.json from tracking (user-specific)
- Add both to .gitignore for all users
- These files should be created locally by each user
